Medium red color and a little plum, cinnamon and oak. Loads of berries. Short on the finish but that's my only bitch for a 10 dollar bottle. I bet this would be good with some spicy ass pizza or Thai.

2008 Rodney Strong Chardonnay (Chalk Hill)
Wine Enthusiast gives this classy chardonnay a rating of 88 and Wine Spectator rates this vintage an 87. On a citrus scale this chard gets a, "Holy Shit! I taste lemons!" Creamy, oh is it fucking creamy! Oak is very subtle, and if you are like me, this is a good thing. Over oaked chards suck ass, the wine loses some of the fruit notes. My only complaint is the acid burn on the finish. Worth the $15 I gave for the Sonoma County Chardonnay.
