2008 Old Moon Zinfandel

When it comes to Trader Joe's wine,  people seem to love it or crucify it.  For 4.99 I am not expecting perfection.  Is this bottle worth 4.99???  Fuck yes!  This wine has a good-enough intensity for a zin, pretty damn fruity...cherry, plum and some spice at the end.  A bit of an oak flavor as well.
For all you Trader Joe's haters out there I agree a lot of their varieties of wine should be labeled vinegar, but I do not believe that's the case here.  Give this one a shot and if you don't like it,  don't bitch like a snob, you're only in it for 5 bucks.
